Acupuncture, Cupping, and Oriental Medicine Awareness

The Utah Association of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine is hosting a free health fair on Saturday, October 8. The event is from 11 AM to 4 PM and will include acupuncture treatments, cupping demonstrations and free classes to the public.

Salt Lake City, UT, October 06, 2016 --(PR.com)-- The Utah Association of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine is increasing awareness of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine through its annual health fair on Saturday, October 8. The event is located at the Greek Church in Holladay, at 5335 S. Highland Drive. From 11 AM to 4 PM, come out and experience acupuncture and cupping for yourself. Acupuncture, under the umbrella of Oriental Medicine, works for so many ailments: pain, mood disorders, women's health, fertility, insomnia, stomach ailments and more.

Also available are free classes to the public: Qi Gong at 11 AM, Acupressure at 12:30 PM, Addiction and Trauma at 2:00 PM and Yoga at 3:30 PM. Come experience the healing benefits of holistic medicine yourself.

On hand will be acupuncturists: Sharon Lockhart, L.Ac from Layton; Tera Matsuda, L.Ac in Price, Utah; Alyssa Johnson, L.Ac from Primary Children Hospital; Michael Berger, OMD from Salt Lake City, Lacey Sanders, L.Ac from Salt Lake City, Karena Luttmer, L.Ac, from Park City and Salt lake City, Carmel Ferriera, ND & L.Ac from Murray, Utah.

Also, in attendance will be other holistic practitioners such as Bluebird Gardens, massage therapy, and Acurea from San Francisco. They hope to see you there.
