Brunswick, GA, October 26, 2016 --(PR.com
)-- Family Life Church, Brunswick Ga will be having its FLC Drop Zone for the second year in a row. The FLC Drop zone is a designated spot in the parking lot of a local church where the pastor will drop hundreds of pounds of candy from a helicopter. While the thrill is for kids of all ages, kids ages 5-12 will be allowed into the drop zone after the final pass from the helicopter is made.
There was a record attendance at last year's FLC Drop Zone; it is believed this year will be even bigger. In addition to the drop zone, the church will have hayrides, carnival games, five inflatables, live music, prizes, food, and much more. One never knows what he or she will get going door to door; however, this festival is a safe alternative to traditional trick or treating.
The church used a local physicist to calculate the trajectory of candy traveling at 20 miles per hour, from 75 feet in the air to ensure further safety of those on the ground.
FLC Drop Zone is the latest in innovative programming delivered by Family Life Church. Previously the church has had a full grown male lion, illustrating Danniel and the lion's den. Family Life church had a De Lorean in the sanctuary as it discussed a Back to the Future theme, and even had the winner of the hit TV show Survivor, who zip lined into the sanctuary for a Survivor themed church service.
