Jamie Skylar’s "Lay Me Down" Delivers Haunting Love Song

Los Angeles, CA, April 01, 2018 --(PR.com)-- The fourth single “Lay Me Down” from the new album “Marmalade” by international performer, recording artist and Producer Jamie “Sky” Skylar will be released on Tuesday, April 3rd, according to a spokesperson for Prophet Records.

Following the release of the first three singles, It Makes Me Crazy, I Know You Know the Walrus Too and Marmalade, Lay Me Down is the fourth and final single to be released prior to the release of the album titled Marmalade on April 27th - available in select stores and on iTunes, Amazon, Spotify, Pandora, YouTube and other music sites worldwide. Pre-sales for the album begin April 16th and will offer fans a pre release discount through April 26th.

“Lay Me Down is a very special song,” Skylar said, “because it speaks to the way we’re supposed to love one another.” “About being able to hold on or let go as the future unfolds without anger, resentment, judgment or being hurt, and the promise of friendship in the future to honor that love, no matter what. When it comes to love, clearly, we humans are still in our infancy and still have a lot to learn about real and unconditional love,” Skylar said. “Because, if we truly love someone, doesn’t that mean we want them to be happy, no matter to whom or where that takes them?”

Doing more than singing or talking about love, Skylar walks the walk, and has pledged a significant portion of the proceeds from the sale of the single It Makes Me Crazy to The Hunger Project. In response to this generous gesture, the Jamie “Sky” Skylar Fan Club is encouraging everyone to buy the single and encourage everyone they know to buy it too, because we all truly can make a difference.
