DataPath Introduces New COBRA Materials for Innovative Employee Engagement Program

Little Rock, AR, April 11, 2018 --(PR.com)-- DataPath, Inc., a leading innovator of technology solutions for the healthcare benefits administration industry, has introduced a new character and new materials for its groundbreaking employee education and engagement program, The Adventures of Captain Contributor.

In March 2018 at its annual client conference, DataPath released a new line of materials that features COBRA insurance benefits. The COBRA materials round out the Captain Contributor library which includes comic books, videos, and fact sheets for Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Dependent Care FSAs (DCAPs), Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Transit/Commuter accounts and benefits debit cards.

DataPath also debuted a new superhero – Betty the Benefactress. Featured prominently in the new COBRA materials, Betty the Benefactress works alongside Captain Contributor, but is more than a conventional sidekick. She uses her extensive knowledge, keen wit, and amazing super powers to educate people about COBRA insurance benefits and rescue them from a distressing situation.

“When we introduced Captain Contributor, our main focus was to help our clients and their employer groups significantly improve employee engagement during open enrollment,” said Bo Armstrong, DataPath’s chief marketing officer. “Following enrollment season, we wanted to address other important benefit subjects as well as introduce another character to work together with Captain Contributor. Our COBRA materials starring Betty the Benefactress accomplish both of those goals.”

DataPath launched the innovative Captain Contributor program in June 2017 as a fun way of helping its clients educate plan participants on employer-sponsored, tax-advantaged benefit accounts and increase enrollment rates. DataPath plans to expand the program further by releasing new adventure materials for FSAs, DCAPs, and HSAs featuring both Captain Contributor and Betty the Benefactress later this year.
