Essex Paint and Sip Opens Wine and Beer Paint Bar in Essex Village, CT

Essex Paint and Sip Opens Wine and Beer Paint Bar in Essex Village, CT
Essex, CT, May 19, 2018 --(PR.com)-- Essex Paint and Sip opens Wine and Beer Paint Bar nestled in Essex Village, CT. Listed in 100 Best Small Towns in America, Essex is a ship building legacy and home of the famous Griswold Inn, Black Seal, and Essex Steam Train. Artisans, boutiques, marinas, and kayak launches adorn the well preserved 300+ year old waterfront village. With Essex Paint and Sip and no art experience one can easily plan a day or evening of art, sipping a favorite beverage, dinner, shopping, paddling, or strolling.

Essex, CT villagers have watched for months as restoration was completed in the old bank, in the historic Essex Village Post Office building. “The building is a beautiful piece of history, once the historic town hall, and constructed of brick and concrete. The beams, tin ceilings, and wide oak flooring create a fresh, open space for artisans, party goers, and gatherings,” says Spencer Rheaume, restoration specialist. The functional vault is re-purposed as a bar. "Lighting was designed to preserve the look of maritime copper finishes and vintage bulbs, yet surround the space with artisan preferred 'day light,'" says Master Electrician Dan Durrenberger.

The location was chosen, simply put, because it is Essex, CT. Essex combines a mix of experience offerings that many visitors refer to as the "new" Hamptons. “With Essex Paint and Sip and no art experience one can easily plan a day or evening of art, dinner, shopping, paddling, or strolling, without moving the car!. The famous wedding and event waterfront Essex Village Gazebo and Gardens is just outside our door,” says Elaine Carpino, owner of Essex Paint and Sip.

The team of artists at the paint bar, and most of the painting choices are locally themed. Water, boats, beaches, birds, flowers, and the quintessential New England village of Essex make an amazing library of acrylic painting choices.

Where does the paint go? Sadly, many paint related businesses send the paint down the drain, fouling sewer and septic systems. Let’s face it, it doesn’t just disappear. Essex Paint and Sip utilizes an engineered flocking system to separate flocks of dried paint from the rinse water. The water is cleaned and re-used, or properly released into the sanitary system. The dried flocks of paint are properly discarded in the landfill.

If you want to get out for the night or afternoon, birthday, special event, company function, or fund raiser visit Essex Paint and Sip to learn more about how they can help create a memorable experience.
