Sound Royalties Announces New Artist Relationships Launching Latin/Pop, Hip-Hop and Gospel Projects
West Palm Beach, FL, September 12, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Sound Royalties, an entertainment industry finance firm serving songwriters, producers, performers and other creatives in music, today announced new collaborative relationships with three highly accomplished artists, including two GRAMMY nominees.

Pop/R&B hitmaker Brenda K. Starr, jazz and gospel impresario Ben Tankard, and hip-hop triple threat D. Lynch have entered into new agreements with Sound Royalties to help finance a variety of creative projects. The announcement illustrates the impact that Sound Royalties is having across multiple genres and production categories within the music industry.

Led by founder and CEO Alex Heiche, Sound Royalties enables artists to secure funding for creative development based on their royalty income, without putting their copyrights at risk. Sound Royalties’ artist-friendly approach empowers creative talent to pursue their ambitions without the hurdles of credit requirements or the fear of losing copyright ownership.

GRAMMY nominee Brenda K. Starr has partnered with Sound Royalties to finance the production and promotion of her newest record, Rendención, on her eponymous label, Starr Records. The singer/songwriter rose to fame with her 1988 hit “I Still Believe,” which was later covered by Mariah Carey, Starr’s former back-up singer. In addition to a GRAMMY nod for “I Still Believe” and success on Billboard’s Pop, Club Dance, R&B/Hip-Hop and Hot 100 charts, Starr has achieved international acclaim in salsa music, with two songs reaching No. 1 on Billboard’s Latin Tropical chart. “I knew right after speaking to Sound Royalties that they were the company that I could trust,” Starr said.

Renowned hip-hop artist and producer D. Lynch recently collaborated with Sound Royalties to fund production and marketing of his new album, Undeclared, released June 24. Currently available on streaming platforms, Undeclared was supported by a live tour this summer. D. Lynch is known for his work with hip-hop icons Wu-Tang Clan, Snoop Dogg, Wiz Khalifa, Future, Gucci Mane and others. The new album is on Red Label Records, the imprint launched by D. Lynch in 2016. “Sound Royalties makes transactions mutually beneficial for both the artist and the company,” said D. Lynch.

Ben Tankard, known as the “Godfather of Gospel/Jazz,” is also working with Sound Royalties as he embarks on a new music and motivational speaking tour inspired by his recent hit single, “Rise!” which shot to No. 1 on Billboard’s Smooth Jazz Chart. A GRAMMY-nominated singer, songwriter, musician and producer, Tankard stars with his family in the reality television show Thicker Than Water. “I am extremely thankful for the partnership with Sound Royalties and look forward to this being a long-term relationship,” Tankard said.

Sound Royalties continues to grow its impact within the artist communities across different genres. “These new partnerships are indicative of the need for our unique brand of artist support in all categories of creative production,” said Heiche. “We constantly hear from creatives how excited they are to team up with a company they can trust, that is dedicated to their career fulfillment.”
