Principled Technologies Releases New Report and Infographic That Show Dell APEX Private Cloud Processed More New Orders Per Minute Than a Comparable Solution from AWS

Durham, NC, June 22, 2023 --(PR.com)-- Many businesses rely on MySQL databases to run their daily operations, but with so many choices available, it can be difficult to know which solution is right to handle these types of workloads. Principled Technologies (PT) has released a new report and infographic that show that a solution running on Dell APEX Private Cloud processed more new orders per minute (NOPM) than a comparable solution running on AWS.

Using the TPROC-C online transaction processing (OLTP) workload in the HammerDB benchmark tool, PT compared performance of each solution and found that the Dell APEX Private Cloud solution processed 24.5 percent more NOPM than the AWS solution.

According to the report, “these results indicate that to maximize the performance of MySQL databases and the responsiveness of critical applications, the APEX private cloud solution is the best choice compared to a similarly configured solution running on AWS.”
