U.S. Environmental Remediation Expert Advises Chinese Agency
Dr. James Dragun asked to use his knowledge and expertise of the "fate of chemicals in the environment" to assist with a cleanup of a site in China.
Farmington Hills, MI, November 13, 2008 --(PR.com)-- In April 2008, Dr. James Dragun was part of a contingent of business representatives that took advantage of the Automation Alley sponsored China – Viet Nam Trade Mission Trip. Dr. Dragun, President of The Dragun Corporation, is recognized for his work in solving complex environmental issues. He is an authority on the “fate of chemicals in the environment” and has authored/co-authored several books on environmental chemistry, soil pollution, and soil cleanup.
While in China, Dr. Dragun had several very productive meetings. One of the meetings was with Dr. Jinghua Jin, from a Chinese environmental protection organization. Following several correspondence with Dr. Jin, Dr. Dragun has been asked to assist in designing an optimal method to remediate soils impacted with industrial pollutants in Beijing. Dr. Dragun has also been asked to return to China as a visiting scholar.
