The mission of AFKA is to work with community stake holders, established classical musicians and parents of future classical musicians to advance the status of classical music and securing its place in the future while providing alternative vehicles to young classical musicians to develop their talent.

Objectives of AFKA: elevate awareness and education through a series of mini-concerts, a music camp for kids, Master Classes in cooperation with the Manhattan School of Music and the Distance Learning Program to provide aspiring young musicians access to the exceptional talent base at Kronberg Academy and events worldwide.

“We have chosen to extend this invitation to the key stakeholders in Palm Beach County because it is our hope to work closely and within the existing framework to impact, support and grow Classical Music Education for the young people of the County,” said Axel K. Langhorst, President of the American Friends of Kronberg Academy, Inc. Langhorst also added, “We are happy to be in Palm Beach County creating a strong support group and cooperation with local music schools for our unique blend of bringing young musicians together with their luminaries of today.”

The private institution, Kronberg Academy, has become synonymous with the task of ensuring that the future generations of world-class Violinists-Violists-Cellists are given a comprehensive musical education and the support they need to reach the top of their profession. In its endeavors, it has the backing and cooperation of some of the most famous musicians of our day who provide one-on-one guidance to the gifted young musicians.

Rainbow Marketing Inc. is charged with successfully launching the American Friends of Kronberg Academy Inc. Specifically, RMI will provide Marketing, Public Relations and Fundraising services. RMI activities will be instrumental in the development of a membership organization. “I recognize that we are faced with a challenge, in the wake of the Madoff scandal and reduction in funding for Arts and Cultural Programs.
