Graphic Design USA Selects ColtStrategies as a Winner in Annual Design Competition
Seattle, WA, September 23, 2009 --(PR.com)-- ColtStrategies, a Seattle award-winning full-service marketing communications agency announced its selection as “Winner” in the 2009 American Graphic Design Awards competition. The American Graphic Design Awards is Graphic Design USA’s flagship competition open to the graphic arts community. Running for its fourth decade, the competition received over 8,000 entries filling 23 categories from print and packaging to Internet and interactive design from advertising agencies, corporate and institutional designers, design firms and other media outlets throughout the country.

ColtStrategies was selected as a winner in the Brochure and Collateral category from some of the best creative professionals in the country. They were awarded this title for their creative design of an event prospectus for eco-Festivals Incorporated. The prospectus was designed to save paper by being a downloadable PDF which could be set-up and printed two-sided.

“It was our intention to have ColtStrategies design our prospectus as environmentally-friendly as possible,” said Robert Jacobs, executive director of eco-Festivals. “We needed to provide event information to our potential vendors, sponsors, media, and attendees, but we did not want to use the traditional and wasteful mass printing for distribution. ColtStrategies helped us achieve this goal by showing us we didn’t have to sacrifice on our design to publish an eco-friendly prospectus.”
