New Release of Pharaoh's Club Poker Chips
Dallas, TX, September 29, 2009 --(PR.com)-- A new version of the famous Pharaoh's Club clay poker chips will be released this week. The first Pharaoh's Club poker chips sale four years ago saw half a million chips sold in a day – over $250,000 worth. This second release could be just as popular.

Leading poker chip designer Greg Cagle of ChipTalk.net – a poker chip collectors site and forum - says:

“The first release sold for $500 a boxed set. Those same sets are selling these days on eBay for $1500 or more. They kind of set the standard for Paulson clay poker chips for home use. And they're obviously a good investment. We expect the new design to do just as well.”

The new line continues to be produced as a true compression molded clay chip – as used in most casinos around the world.

The Pharaoh's Club poker chip designers, Greg Cagle and John Faulhaber, designed the original as well as the new Pharaoh's Club clay chips. All the exact same colors and edge spots (inserts) colors have been preserved in order to match existing sets of Pharaoh's. However the new Pharaoh's Club chips will have a unique custom mold, new edge spot configuration and larger inlays.

Since the release of the original chips up to 2 million Pharaoh's Club chips have been sold.

Vintage poker chips frequently sell on auction sites like eBay for large sums. When WhatSellsBest.com (a website that tracks best-selling eBay items) publisher James Massey was asked which August 2009 eBay auction surprised him the most, he replied; "Definitely the vintage poker chip... (from The Mint Casino)... anytime an item originally worth $5 sells for $14,100 it's surprising.”

That chip lay forgotten in a woman's jewelry box for 47 years before she put it on eBay hoping someone would find it desirable.
