Los Angeles, CA, July 27, 2010 --(PR.com)-- A Pictorial Memoir shows the life of an active duty Military Non-Commissioned Officer.

Having served in both the Afghanistan and Iraq Wars, David T. Williams hopes readers keep one thing in mind when perusing his new book, A Pictorial Memoir: 23 Years in the Making (published by AuthorHouse): No one prays for peace more than a soldier, because it is he that has to make the ultimate sacrifice. Writing under the pen name, Tadaram Maradas, Williams gives an insider’s view of life in the military, particularly in times of war.

“A Pictorial Memoir is a reflection of the hard work and sacrifices faced by many young Americans who unselfishly don the uniform of the U.S. Armed Forces,” remarks Williams.

A Pictorial Memoir includes personal photos, correspondences and documentations of Williams’ 20+ year history in the Armed Forces. Williams takes readers on a journey through many far-flung places in Central Asia, Europe, the South Pacific and the Middle East. Lifting the veil of military life, Williams allows readers to be privy to a world many will never experience personally. Through his pictorial history, Williams shows depictions of everything from graphic scenes of violence to the day-to-day operations of active soldiers.

Williams, now a Career Counselor for the U.S. Army, reflects on his life as a steward of his country. “It has come with great reward, sacrifice, loss and healing,” he says. “However, I have enjoyed it to the utmost.”

Sergeant First Class, David T. Williams joined the U.S. Army on April 18, 1986. He is a decorated non-commissioned officer, receiving such awards as The NATO Non Article-5 Medal, The Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, and the Iraqi / Afghanistan Campaign Medal. He is an alumni of Excelsior College in upstate New York and is currently pursuing his Masters of Science in Acquisition and Supply Chain Management at the University of Maryland. Writing under his pen name, Tadaram Maradas, he is also the author of the novel, The Other Side of the Game. For more information, visit www.tadarammaradas.com.
