Cairo, Egypt, August 16, 2010 --(PR.com)-- eBacha.com has launched as a service providing the people of Cairo and Alexandria with a great way to sell used and new products to each other, either in the form of auctions or straight up sales. Listing items for sale is completely free as opposed to other similar services in Egypt which charge you for a listing.

Everyone has things they don't need lying around. If a person wants to get rid of something in Egypt, they can give it to a friend, sell it to an acquaintance, or sell it to a shop if one that wants to buy it exits. These aren't great options and can be a real hassle leading to most people not bothering to sell any of their old stuff and the unused clutter piling up in their homes.

“From personal experience and from talking to friends, I found that there was a need for a place to bring together people in Egypt and allow them to buy and sell anything and everything to each other, openly and free of charges or commissions,” says Tarek Mongy, Founder of eBacha.com. “That's when the idea for eBacha was born.”

eBacha brings together buyers and sellers in a way previously not available in Egypt. Users can create auctions with a minimum bid/price and even a reserve price unseen by the buyers. The seller sets a time period for the auction, adds a description and uploads photos, and then buyers can start bidding on the item. If an auction is not really suitable for the item being sold, then the seller also has the option to create a “Buy it now” type listing which is a straight sale with a fixed price set by the seller.

When an item is won by the highest bidder, eBacha’s automated system sends out an email to both the buyer and seller with the contact information of the other so that they can contact each other and set up the trade between them. eBacha then depends on a feedback system where the buyer and seller leave feedback for each other following the transaction. In this way users build up a reputation on the site and future buyers or sellers can see the credibility of the user they are dealing with before completing a transaction.
