Houston, TX, March 20, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Sarcastically captivating comedian Ali Siddiq sets sail on the Tom Joyner Morning Show Cruise in an effort to support historically black colleges. Ali is a sturdy ally of continuing education and has welcomed the opportunity to give to such a worthy cause. Ali’s unique approach to life, business and comedy has enabled him to build an impressive resume in the industry. In addition to his performance on the cruise, Ali has maintained four seasons on BET’s Comic View. After catching the eye of several notable comedians, Ali has performed a USO tour in South Korea and Japan. The Tom Joyner Morning Show Cruise will be sailing for the 11th year with the purpose of keeping students in black colleges and universities. Guests will set sail from Galveston, Texas on Sunday, March 20 and will be making stops in both the Grand Cayman Islands and Cozumel, Mexico. Cruise passengers aboard the ship will enjoy a variety of entertainment. Musical performances and activities will be in abundance, to include celebrity guests, concerts by R&B artists Fantasia and artist Charlie Wilson and for the mature laugh-oholic stand-up satire by Ali Siddiq.

One fortunate cruise attendee or morning show listener will walk away with the keys to a brand new Ford Explorer. This giveaway is part of Ford’s efforts to support higher education at historically black colleges an effort Ford is passionate about and to showcase the Ford Explorers’ uniqueness as well. A 2011 Ford Explorer Limited will be on display on the ship for cruise participants to view and to dream of becoming the lucky owner of the Explorer at the end of the Fantastic Voyage.

Today there are hundreds of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. As a result of Tom Joyner and followers Historically Black Colleges will benefit over $1 million dollars according to past cruise efforts. The cruise is a significant source of funding for the youth in the African American Community. Historically Black Colleges are located throughout many communities across the United States offering Bachelors degrees, Masters Level, and Doctoral degree programs.
