Global Business Development Center Announces the Addition of Actor Jorge Pallo to Speaker List & New Workshops to Existing Entrepreneurship Program for Artists
Delray Beach, FL, May 12, 2012 --(PR.com)-- "From Starving to Striving" The Business Side of Art a South Florida based program that focuses on developing the business skills of artists announces a revised 2nd Quarter Program schedule and once again an impressive list of program speakers.

The program began in January 2012 and met for five consecutive Saturdays. In order to better accommodate the participants, the Program developers have adjusted the schedule to have a broader reach. The program now offers workshops Tuesday evenings beginning 5:30 p.m. and ending at 9:30 p.m. The 2nd Quarter Program will begin on Tuesday, May 15th and run for 5 consecutive weeks concluding on Tuesday, June 12th.

With the addition of the new workshops the Global Business Development Center is also adding new guest speakers who will share their expertise as industry professionals and fellow artists who will share their journey and what it takes to make it. The most recent addition to the list of speakers is Actor Jorge-Luis Pallo.

A native of Queens, New York, Jorge-Luis Pallo received his BFA in Theatre from New York University Tisch School of the Arts. He has studied with Camryn Manheim, Bob Moss, Travis Preston, and Chuck Jones. Jorge worked as a teaching assistant at the Puerto Rican Traveling Theatre serving inner city kids in New York. Since relocating to Los Angeles seven years ago, Jorge has been a part of the Scott Sedita Acting Studios family, first as student, then as teaching assistant, and now as teacher. Jorge has honed an impressive acting pedigree appearing as a recurring character on Showtime's critically acclaimed Resurrection Blvd and in numerous notable guest appearances on NYPD Blue, The Shield, Malcolm in the Middle, Charmed, Moesha, Sabrina, and others. His films include Steven Spielberg's Minority Report and War of the Worlds. On stage, Jorge has been seen in Juan & Sooz (Los Angeles), Serious Money (New York), A Few Good Men (NY), and others. Creating a safe and nurturing environment where young actors "never apologize" when they "try and fail and try again" is paramount to Jorge's teaching philosophy. Jorge strives to instill in his students a flexible and open "way of seeing" the world and a heightened instinct for being truthful in front of camera and "real in the moment."
