Amazing Spaces® Storage Centers Hosts 15th Year Anniversary Event to Thank Customers and to Fundraise for the Shriners Hospitals for Children
Amazing Spaces Storage Centers, a leading provider of upscale moving and storage solutions, announces their 15th Year Anniversary Event to be held on May 16th, 2013 at 2412 W. Holcombe Blvd. in the Houston Medical Center. The event promises to be fun and unique, the highlight being a "Storage Wars" themed live auction benefiting the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Houston.
Amazing Spaces will have a live auctioneer at the event and will display the auction items in a “Storage Wars” style. Attendees can get a sneak peek of what will be up for auction and even bid in advance on the website www.AmazingSpaces.net/Auction. Raffle tickets can be purchased at any Amazing Spaces location and online at www.AmazingSpaces.net/Auction. Every dollar raised from the auction and from raffle ticket sales will be donated to the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Houston.
Amazing Spaces became aware of the needs of the Shriners Hospitals for Children, most notably from their participation in the annual Texas Self Storage Association-led fundraising “Make a Difference” campaign each Fall. Additionally, in April of 2012, several members of the Amazing Spaces staff went on a private tour of the Shriners Hospitals for Children in Houston. “We were truly amazed at the innovative work the hospital does and by the level of care that the hospital gives so that child is surrounded by compassion and put at ease,” says Kathy Tautenhahn, Vice President of Amazing Spaces. “The building itself was kid-friendly and cheery. Our tour guide and the professionals we had the pleasure of meeting were joyful to do the work that they do. Seeing that atmosphere of compassion and care gives us the resolve to incorporate fundraising into our celebratory anniversary event on May 16th.”
The Amazing Spaces 15th Year Anniversary Event will also include wine tastings, gourmet hors d'oeuvres and desserts, parting gifts for guests, an action-packed "Storage Wars" themed live auction, door prizes, and more. The event date is May 16th and doors open to the public at 6:00PM. Adjacent parking lots in neighboring businesses will be available to guests at no charge.
