Charlotte, NC, June 07, 2013 --(PR.com)-- WK Dickson is pleased to announce the addition of Kenneth "Bud" Hawk, PE, as the firm’s newest Senior Project Manager for the Airport Group. Bud is a registered professional engineer with over 30 years of experience in the aviation industry. His impressive body of work spans the private, municipal, and federal government sectors.

Prior to joining WK Dickson, Bud was the Deputy Director of Airport Planning & Engineering for Horry County, South Carolina – which includes Myrtle Beach International Airport. During his time with Horry County, Bud managed the development of hundreds of millions of dollars in airport improvement projects, including the recently completed $110 million terminal expansion at Myrtle Beach International.

Bud has over 20 years of experience in performing all aspects of management and business development for general aviation and air-carrier services. He has worked in all phases of the design process including planning, engineering, construction administration, resident project administration and project management. Bud's leadership and team development skills, along with his strong working relationships throughout the aviation industry will complement his role as a Senior Project Manager.
