New Orleans, LA, March 04, 2015 --(PR.com
)-- This is a banner year for Southern Oaks Plantation, a special events venue in New Orleans. On February 9, Borrowed & Blue published the results of its 2014 Best of B&B Awards, in which people globally voted on their favorite wedding venues in 8 different categories. This year, they selected Southern Oaks Plantation as the “Best All-Around Wedding Venue” in the New Orleans area, as well as the #1 “Most Romantic New Orleans Wedding Venue” and runner-up for “Best Wedding Venue for Grand Weddings.”
Being voted the best wedding venue starts off what has already been a remarkable 2015 for Southern Oaks Plantation. This is the fifth consecutive year the business received both a WeddingWire “Couple’s Choice Award” and a “Best of Weddings” pick by The Knot, two of the wedding industry’s most prestigious honors. In addition, Southern Oaks recently made their 3rd appearance in the Gambit’s Best of New Orleans poll as the only privately owned venue to be voted as “Best Place for a Wedding Reception” for 2014.
Bobby Asaro, owner and president of Southern Oaks Plantation, attributes these recent awards to his company’s enthusiastic group of wedding professionals: “Our secret formula for what has made Southern Oaks so successful is simple – a team dedicated to hard work and attention to every detail for each event.” Currently celebrating its 28th anniversary, Southern Oaks Plantation is owned by Bobby and Sue Asaro, who started the business in January 1987. “We are extremely honored and humbled to receive these accolades – they speak volumes about the excellent service we strive to achieve. Thank you for making us number one!”
In addition to these wonderful accolades, Mr. Asaro is proud to announce the unveiling of his venue’s new and improved website. “SouthernOaksPlantation.com
has seen a major boost in traffic since our official launch this January, and we couldn’t be more excited,” beams Bobby. “We have added TONS of new high quality photos, videos, and easy-to-read descriptions for all the services we provide.” The best change, however, is that the Southern Oaks team is now able to constantly update and alter every aspect of the website to keep it as fresh and new as possible. “We’re practically adding photos and going through minor redesigns several times a month!” Mr. Asaro encourages brides to explore our site and experience the magic of Southern Oaks Plantation.
