In the ”Letters From A Nut” books, Mr. Nancy wrote to various places with strange requests such as wanting to check into a hotel with his own ice machine. Or trying to sell Plus Size Batman clothing to heavyset people in a mall. The letters and the replies were published and the books sold millions worldwide.

The “Letters From A Nut” books have forewords by Jerry Seinfeld, who many thought was actually Ted L. Nancy in a mystery that went on for years.

Eventually Ted L. Nancy was revealed as comedian Barry Marder, a former writer on “Seinfeld” and currently involved on Seinfeld’s successful “Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee.”

“Scammers” is created by Barry Marder and is written by Marder and Phyllis Murphy. The illustrations are from cartoonist Alan Marder. Molly O'Keefe and Samantha Storr are Producers. Laura Michalchyshyn is Executive Producer. Brainbow created and produced the animation.

“Scammers” is produced by Sundance Productions and distributed by FilmBuff worldwide.
