)-- Wild Bird Fund (WBF), New York City’s only wildlife medical, rehabilitation and education center, will hold its fifth annual fundraising gala on Thursday May 5th, 2016, at the magnificent “Birdie” Vanderbilt Mansion, home of the Carlton Hobbs Antiques Gallery. More than 300 anticipated guests will be in attendance with special entertainment by NYC based singer and actress Amanda Ferguson.
WBF rehabilitates 3,500 wild birds and animals annually with the goal of releasing them back to the wild. Proceeds from the Flocktail Party will provide critical funding for medical supplies, food, equipment and operating expenses at WBF.
The celebration will include:
· A menagerie of wild and winged guests
· Cocktails, wine, and hors d’oeuvres
· Silent and live auctions
· Dancing and entertainment
