Montara, CA, July 16, 2018 --(PR.com)-- California Band Releases New “Inmigrantes” Single
to Raise Money for Immigrant Families.

A new song called “Inmigrantes” by a California
Mexi-Americana band will raise money for immigrants jailed in the recent border crackdown. Califuegos will donate 50 percent of the 2018 profits from the song “Inmigrantes" to the ACLU, Texas Civil Rights Project, and RAICES, nonprofits that promote justice by providing free and low-cost legal services to under-served
 immigrant families.

“Separating children from their parents at the border is morally wrong and should be unacceptable in a civilized society,” said Mark Wieser the band’s guitarist and lead singer. “We want to help families affected by this misguided policy reunite as they take their next step into an uncertain future.”

Inmigrantes has a cinematic feel that takes you on the journey of being separated from family. Using guitar, drums, accordion, trumpets, and bass, the song deals with the hardships immigrants face, with just the hope of another, hopefully better day to carry them forward into a new life.

You can stream or download the song through 150 digital stores and streaming services across 100+ countries worldwide. Visit iTunes here https://apple.co/2J1wwwl
Califuegos play a unique blend of Alternative Mexi-Americana music at venues up and down the coast of California. Band members include Mark Wieser guitar and vocals, David Gilmour on keyboard and accordion, Tom Feix on bass and vocals and G on drums, percussion and backing vocals. Guest player Noah Frank on trumpet. The band members all live in the Half Moon Bay area and have played together for seven years.

Califuegos has a new album in the works, scheduled for release in September 2018. The band sped up the release of “Inmigrantes” because it belongs on the airwaves now and they wanted to use the momentum and passion around the issue to raise money for the immigrants affected by the tough new policies that have separated more than 2,000 children from parents caught crossing illegally into the United States in recent months.
