Cascade Healthcare Services to Deliver American Red Cross Programs to United States Military

Seattle, WA, March 12, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Cascade Healthcare Services (Cascade), the leading provider of healthcare resuscitation certification, training, credentialed healthcare and workplace safety curriculums on the west coast, announced today that it will use the new American Red Cross curriculum for resuscitation and first aid education to train their Military Health System clients.

The decision follows the U.S. Military Training Network’s decision to adopt the Red Cross resuscitation curriculum for its 250,000 U.S. military personnel.

“Cascade is extremely proud to have provided training and training management services for multiple military institutions since 2009,” said Paul Regalia, President, Cascade Training Center. “Since our inception, Cascade has consistently added safety and resuscitation courses that utilize the most current science and evidence to deliver and measure programs focused on patient outcome improvement and logistical efficiencies.”

“Cascade’s mission, to save lives through world-class training, is one that truly resonates with the Red Cross,” said David Markenson, MD, Chief Medical Officer of Red Cross Training Services. “Between Red Cross programs and our collaboration with Cascade, students seeking high-quality resuscitation education are certain to have improved experiences and be well-prepared to better serve their patients.”

Among the Red Cross courses that will be offered to the individuals credentialed annually through Cascade is the innovative new Resuscitation Suite™ program for healthcare providers. The Resuscitation Suite education program consists of Basic Life Support, Advanced Life Support, and Pediatric Advanced Life Support courses. In addition to current science, the Resuscitation Suite programs offer choice and flexibility, particularly in the online adaptive learning feature. Adaptive learning provides the ability to test out of specific topics by demonstrating competency, resulting in a more personalized, focused learning experience with shorter overall course times.

Cascade offers over 200 courses every month to students and provides outsourced health and safety training to some of the largest corporations and hospital systems in the United States. In addition to its collaboration with the Red Cross for the Military Training Network, Cascade is an authorized provider of education offered by American Heart Association, Emergency Nurses Association, American Academy of Pediatrics, American Academy of Family Physicians, among others. It serves all 50 states with eight strategically placed training centers in California, Oregon, Washington, and Colorado.
