Company dance camps on the other hand, are open to dancers 13 years old and above, and will take place between July 16-18, 2019 and August 13-15, 2019. Beginner/intermediate camps will be organized between July 30 and August 1, and will be offered to dancers ages 8-12.

Mainstage has also announced that Natalie Wrigley, who was the assistant director of the Summer Stage Apprentice Program last year, will lead the direction team this year. Natalie interned with the program in 2017 and was a Summer Stage camper before that. She had this to say about this opportunity, “I am very excited for summer to see many smiling faces, both old and new! I can't wait for so many weeks full of summertime and happiness with some amazing kids! I am sure this will be the best summer yet!”

This year’s Summer Stage Video Film Camp will see Connor Poisel, a junior at Emerson College majoring in Visual and Media Arts production, co-direct the program. He has worked on several key projects, including the second season of the sitcom, “Dear Griff.” He is also quite upbeat about this opportunity, “My goal for this program is for every camper to leave with two things. One: a short film written, directed, and edited all by themselves, and two: the knowledge that they belong at a truly wonderful place. No matter who they are, every child has a place at Summer Stage.”
