Witlingo Launches Voice First Communities
McLean, VA, July 24, 2019 --(PR.com)-- Witlingo, a McLean, VA Software as a Service company focused on enabling enterprises to deliver highly usable conversations with voice services such as Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, today announced the general availability of Buildlingo Community, a patent-pending based offering that enables businesses and organizations of all sizes to empower their customers and users to engage in Voice First conversations through Amazon Alexa skills and Google Assistant actions deployed using the Building tool.

"Up to now, the focus in the industry has been mainly on enabling professional Voice First experience builders to easily create and deploy voice first experiences, such as Amazon Alexa skills and Google Assistant actions," said Ahmed Bouzid, Founder and CEO of Witlingo. "What we are doing with Buildlingo Communities is to empower the end user of these Voice First experiences to contribute to deployed Alexa skills and Assistant actions."

With the newly released Buildlingo Communities feature, anyone with an audience can now give that audience an opportunity to speak back. Dave Kemp, Business Development Manager at Oaktree Products and Hearables expert and evangelist, for instance, launched a companion Voice First channel to his daily Flash Briefing, Future Ear Radio, a microcast that touches on all matters Hearables. "Something I feel strongly about is that we're at the beginning stages of what I would call a 'Cambrian explosion' of audio content," Mr. Kemp said. "And this new capability of enabling anyone to post an audio clip into Alexa skills and Google actions continues to move us further along into this new world." Mr. Kemp's Community channel is called The Future Ear Roundtable.

Podcaster Nick Myers, Founder and Creative Director of RedFox Creative, also similarly added a Voice First channel to "The Artificial Podcast," a weekly podcast that touches on topics in Artificial Intelligence and Voice First. Every week, Mr. Myers poses a question to his audience and invites them to post comments and suggestions onto the companion Voice First channel.

Bill Tobia, Founder and CEO at Clinstruct, and Dr. Sirish Kondabolu, Orthopaedic Surgeon & Co-Founder of Medicine ReMixed Media, are both launching Voice First channels that enable their respective audiences to pitch in with comments and suggestions by just speaking. Bill Tobia's "The Clinical Rounds" serves as a Voice First forum for anyone to contribute thoughts and ask questions about the latest news in Clinical Research. On his part, Dr. Sirish Kondabolu, who also hosts weekly podcast called Medicine ReMixed, invites his audience to engage by posting audio comments onto his channel, "The Medicine Remixed Roundtable."

The new Communities offering is also being leveraged by VOICE Summit, currently underway in Newark, New Jersey through July 26, and Women in Voice, a non-profit organization with a mission to empower women and diverse people in the voice technology field. The channels were launched to enable the organizations’ respective community members to introduce themselves by posting short voice self-bios. “Since our conference is all about Voice First," said Pete Erickson, Founder, CEO of Modev and Producer of The VOICE Summit conference, "it only made sense for us to showcase the power of voice by enabling conference participants to pitch in with voice bits about themselves that everyone can listen to through our Voice Summit Guide Alexa skill and Google action."

Romance and Science Fiction author Judy Dawn, who also publishes the "Judy's Journal" microcast, just launched a new Voice First channel called, "The Hero Headquarters," where she challenges her readers and listeners with a weekly mission "to go above and beyond the daily grind" and "be a superhero."

Bradley Metrock, CEO of Score Publishing and executive producer of the national VoiceFirst Events series, is taking advantage of the new offering to publish the "Voice Perspectives" channel, which features experts sharing thoughts on gender within #VoiceFirst technology, as well as reactions to other hot topics.

Digital Marketing experts Mostafa Razzak, CEO of JMRConnect, and Susan and Scot Westwater, founders of Pragmatic Digital, are launching channels that engage with their respective prospects and customers. By combining Buildlingo's Outbound Notifications and the new Communities capability, prospects and customers of JMRConnect and Pragmatic Digital will receive weekly notifications alerting them to important new content and soliciting feedback from them. "If you want to win new business or keep the customers that you have," said Mr. Razzak, "you need to maintain a running conversation with them. You need to be top of mind with them when it comes to what you are offering, and a weekly notification via a cool technology such as voice assistants, with the added ability of prospects and customers to speak back, has the potential of creating sustainable meaningful engagement."
