Proposed Medical Clinic on the North Shore of Lake Travis

Jonestown, TX, April 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Waterscape Villas condominium community is in discussions with St. David's Round Rock Hospital for a medical clinic to be located within the community at the corner of Live Oak Avenue and Old Burnet Road. The proposed clinic would service the North Shore of Lake Travis including the Jonestown and Lago Vista areas, as well as the immediate medical needs of Lake Travis boaters and pedestrians.

In the site plan, Waterscape Villas has allocated a building site for the project within Phase II of the community. The building is currently designed with more than 10,000 square feet of clinic space. Public access and parking are shown off Live Oak Avenue.

A letter from the future medical director of the clinic states:

“This clinic is proposed as an integral part of the St. David’s system of quality healthcare facilities. As I currently envision our medical clinic, it will include coverage by Board Certified specialists in Internal Medicine and in Family Practice. In addition, I plan on having the capability to perform Plastic Surgery on site through the expertise of Board Certified Plastic Surgeons and the availability of state of the art plastic surgical suites.”

The proposed medical clinic was a provision of the Development Agreement entered into between the City of Jonestown and the Waterscape Villas development group. According to a Waterscape representative, if an agreement is reached between Waterscape Villas and St. David’s, construction on the clinic could begin as early as summer 2008.
