First-Ever P2P MEDIA SUMMIT Silicon Valley --  Technological Innovations & New Business Models
Washington, DC, July 03, 2008 --(PR.com)-- The Distributed Computing Industry Association (www.DCIA.info), a trade organization with more than one-hundred Member companies representing peer-to-peer and social networking software providers (P2Ps), content owners, Internet service providers (ISPs), and service-and-support companies, today announced the agenda and first wave of speakers for its upcoming P2P MEDIA SUMMIT Silicon Valley.

This first-ever Silicon Valley convening of the DCIA flagship conference series is scheduled for Monday August 4th in Salons IV-VI of the San Jose Marriott, and is being held in conjunction with Building Blocks, which is jointly produced by the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA) and Digital Hollywood.

“We are thrilled to be able to present a program devoted to the latest technological innovations and newest business models being introduced in the rapidly emerging P2P marketplace,” said DCIA CEO Marty Lafferty in making the announcement.
