)-- Samson Carts® introduced the first, fully recyclable Dolly at the International Facilities Management Association (IFMA) World Workplace 2008 Conference & Expo in Dallas, Texas last month.
Annually, over three million wooden dollies are purchased in the U.S. at loss of over 175,000 trees. The loss of 175,000 trees keeps an additional 61,764 tons of CO2 in the atmosphere. A shift in purchase to the recyclable, environmentally friendly Samson Dollies® would help remove this dangerous gas from the atmosphere. Utilizing natural gas, the plastic manufacturing process is so energy efficient that it actually uses less fossil fuel per pound and emits significantly less airborne pollutants than hardwood dolly production.
