SafeAuto® Insurance Company launched their first ever public casting call today in an effort to find new talent for their next advertising campaign. Featuring celebrity judges affiliated with non-profit Rock n' Renew, SafeAuto® created the microsite, DoTheJingle.com where contestants can upload their own versions of the iconic SafeAuto® jingle for a chance to win.

Columbus, OH, January 21, 2009 --(PR.com)-- SafeAuto® launches DoTheJingle.com

SafeAuto® Insurance Company launched their first ever public casting call today in an effort to find new talent for their next advertising campaign. “We are looking for the person or group that can re-create the best version of our original, famous SafeAuto® Jingle,” said Ari Deshe, CEO of SafeAuto.

Everyone is invited to submit their renditions of the jingle at www.DoTheJingle.com. Site visitors are also being encouraged to vote on their favorite jingle because it is the people that will inevitably select the winner. Additionally, SafeAuto® has enlisted a bevy of artists to help judge the submissions. The SafeAuto® judges are some of the most respected musicians, actors, fashion designers, producers and artists in the world. All judges are part of the Rock 'n Renew artist community, and are responsible for providing a review of every submitted video. Additionally, judges will have the ability to select any group/artist to participate in the finals.

The Rock ‘n Renew celebrity judges include musicians Art Alexakis of Everclear, Brian Bell of Weezer, Nick Hodgson of The Kaiser Chiefs, Jonny Dubowsky of Jonny Lives! and more. For each unique video submission to the site, SafeAuto will donate $5 to Rock n’ Renew.

When evaluating the videos, judges will be looking for creativity, musical ability, strength of performance and originality. The winner(s) of the Do The Jingle competition will receive a paid advertising contract with SafeAuto® and will appear in a future advertising campaign.

Participants are encouraged to upload their video submissions to the site www.DoTheJingle.com between now and the March 20th 2009 midnight deadline. No videos will be accepted after this deadline. This is also the time period for voting. The top 20 voted videos automatically qualify for the final round of voting.

In addition to the top 20 qualifying videos, the talent judges will be able to hand select videos to also include in the finals. At the beginning of the finals, all previous votes will be erased. The finals will take place during the last week of the contest and will consist only of online voting. At the end of the finals week, the video with the most votes will receive an advertising contract from SafeAuto® Insurance Company.
