The Endeavor for Hope Foundation Brings in World-Renowned DJs Pete Tong and Deadmau5 to Help Support African Cause & Hosts V.I.P. Fundraiser Celebrating Africa & Music
Houston, TX, March 13, 2009 --(PR.com)-- The Endeavor for Hope Foundation (“The EFHF”), a Houston-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit charity has just confirmed that legendary DJ, Pete Tong* and chart-topping electronic music ingénue Deadmau5, will make special appearances at their Invite-Only V.I.P. Charity Event on Friday, March 20th, 2009 (7 p.m. – 10 p.m. at the Hotel Icon, Downtown Houston). Pete Tong’s and Deadmau5’s attendance at the V.I.P. fundraiser will help The EFHF bring awareness to its mission of “providing, promoting and supporting access to basic education in rural Sub-Saharan Africa.” 100% of all proceeds raised during this event will go towards the shipment of textbooks and teaching materials to primary and secondary schools in West Africa and towards the operating costs of The EFHF.

This event will also serve as the Exclusive V.I.P. Pre-Party for an unprecedented performance at Bar Rio** later on in the evening, where Pete Tong will spin alongside Deadmau5. The two playing together in Houston/The U.S. is an accomplishment for the American electronic music scene. By hosting the Exclusive Pre-Concert V.I.P. Party, The EFHF will bring together DJs Pete Tong and Deadmau5, their top Houston fans and Houston’s best electronic music talent, while shedding light and raising funds for the charity’s important cause.

This pre-party charity event will feature African-inspired music by three of Houston’s own top electronic DJ’s-- Amanda Robinson, Benzo and Esteban Torres. The event will also feature a live art painting by Micah the Artist, a Silent Auction and a live Igbo Atilogwu (Nigerian) Dance Performance. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be served.
