Twilaughs.com Announces the Release of Twilaughs: A Major Motion Picture Parody - the First of Its Kind in a Humorous Series on This New Generation of Vampires
Raleigh, NC, March 18, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Twilaughs.com based out of Raleigh, NC plans to release the first of five books in a series called Twilaughs: A Major Motion Picture Parody (www.twilaughs.com). Dubbed by Stephan E. Myers as his #1 New York Best Slaying Attempt at Twi-humor, it is a collection of more than one hundred and fifty original jokes, comic relief and humorous illustrations regarding the popular saga of which it is a parody. Twilaughs is perhaps the largest single collection of humorous anecdotes and parodies regarding today's new genre of vampires and werewolves which has millions of fans hungry for more.

Twilaughs sets the standard for this new generation of twisted vampire mania and humorous satire not only for twifans but for vampire aficionados of all ages, and as the first book in its own series, it is designed to help feed their voracious appetites for more. It is also intended to revamp and extend ancient perspectives on how this new breed of vampires eats, loves and lives among us. “We have some fresh meat to work with here,” says Myers who believes everyone who has read the series will quickly relate to the humor in these far fetched depictions, “All vampire fans abroad and those who are the least bite familiar with the saga and only saw the movie five times will enjoy its many parodies.”

When Myers was asked about the publication, he replied with Twilaughs’ opening quote… “Thou shalt not partake of the forbitten fruit, for if thou does partake, thou wilt surely die of laughter.” Twilaughs 2:17 The book includes parodies on popular everyday products, answers questions we would all like to ask this new generation of vampires, introduces several of the Twilaughs’ characters in everyday scenarios, and adds some plain old wit and fun to the twiscene beckoning us to come back for more.

In addition to the first release of this attempt at twihumor is a new website destined to be unique in its own peculiar way. Myers’ website at twilaughs.com captures your attention by depicting a network of industrious rodents; the same ones who also provide a measure of comic relief throughout the book. “It doesn’t matter how we die,” says Myers, “it only matters how we live – so live a little more with laughter and if you enjoy the love story, the intrigue or the fright, Twilaughs has something for everyone.”

Myers is a little known author and artist who wishes to remain so – but just couldn’t resist the twihumor temptation to track this twisted adventure in the twilight of his life. With roots on Long Island in a town near Amityville, it is easy to see why he’d rather remain unknown. While attending college, he was a member of the U.S. Naval Academy Art and Printing Club and illustrated comics for the University’s underground publication, The Log Magazine. But instead of art, Myers pursued an illustrious career as a Navy pilot and now spends time writing about more important things like the humorous antics of the vampires and werewolves found in Twilaughs.

Twilaughs: A Major Motion Picture Parody will be available for purchase online at twilaughs.com on March 20, 2009 on the eve of the next Twifan feeding. Don’t be surprised if you find two book covers to select from – both will contain the identical material, but again, he just couldn’t resist. “More than one book has been sold of these sure to be collector’s editions of Twilaughs,” says Myers. “We’re only just getting started!”
