In addition to being selected for the 2008 DC International Film Festival, the film was also an official selection for the 2008 Urbanworld Film Festival.

The first single from the film’s soundtrack, “Red Carpet,” performed by D.C.’s premiere hip-hop group, Likeblood, is impacting radio across the country. In addition, the music video, which was shot in mid-February, premiered on BET.com in March and is slated to make its television debut this month. Both the films’ score and soundtrack are co-produced by Chucky Thompson and up-and-coming producer, Maurice “Mo Digga” Randolph, and feature a variety of D.C. artists including Likeblood, the UnCalled 4 Experience, MTB4’s DeAngelo Redman, Tabi Bonney, and up-and-coming chanteuse, Chris. Select premieres will be followed by a concert featuring performances by artists from the soundtrack.
