Lansing Community College, Going for World Record to Raise Money for Local Kids
Lansing, MI, June 08, 2009 --(PR.com)-- Lansing Community College and chef Nick are having a huge event on June 29th, 2009 at LCC West Campus off I-496 and Mt. Hope road. The attempt is to break the world record for the largest slab of chocolate fudge, the current record is 5050 pounds, and the intent is to shatter that record. Proceeds from the sale of the fudge go to benefit the local kids through gateway/crossroads community services for the youth and homeless, as well as scholarships to be set up at Lansing Community College for kids that cannot afford to go to college.

The cost is only $10 per pound; this fundraiser is for the best cause of all, the kids.
