Antiquorum Offers Outstanding Collection of Timepieces in First Auction of the Season

An impressive selection of over 300 exceptional timepieces will be offered in Antiquorum’s first sale of the season. Prior to the auction, clients can preview the outstanding collection in Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong and New York.

The highlight of the sale is the extraordinary Jean Dunand Grande Complication in platinum. Produced in 2005, this unique timepiece is an exceptional water-resistant wristwatch with one-minute flying tourbillon minute repeater, oval button split-seconds chronograph, register, bi-retrograde perpetual calendar, and leap year cycle indication.

For the Audemars collector, Antiquorum experts will be offering an Audemars Piguet “Jules Audemars.” Produced in three pieces in 2007, it’s an extremely fine and rare, large, water resistant, minute-repeating, 18K white gold and diamonds wristwatch with visible one-minute tourbillon regulator, round button chronograph and register. This extraordinary watch is accompanied by a piano-shaped box to amplify the sound of the minute repeater.

Furthermore, there is an exceptional Breguet "Tourbillon Skeleton Perpetual" in the sale. Produced in 2008, it is a rare and important limited series platinum cased wristwatch with skeletonized pink movement, visible one-minute tourbillon regulator and perpetual calendar with retrograde.

For the Patek Philippe enthusiast, there is a Patek Philippe ref. 3970. Made in 1999, this exquisite timepiece is a water-resistant, 18K white gold wristwatch with round button chronograph, register, perpetual calendar, moon phases, leap year and 24-hour indication.

Also for the Audemars fan, there is an Audemars Piguet "Royal Oak Tourbillon Power Reserve.” Only 25 pieces of this watch were produced to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Royal Oak. Made in 1997, it is an important, large, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with date, visible one minute tourbillon regulator and power reserve indicator.

Another outstanding Patek Philippe included in the September auction is the Patek Philippe ref. 3971. Produced in 1990, this exceptional 18k yellow gold wristwatch features a round button chronograph, registers, perpetual calendar, and moon phases.

The Richard Mille aficionado will want to bid on the Richard Mille, “Felipe Massa Flyback Chronograph – RM 011.” Produced in 2006, it is a rare and very unusual, tonneau-shaped and curved, self-winding, water resistant to 50 m, 18K white gold and titanium wristwatch with square button fly-back chronograph, registers, annual calendar and oversized date display.

For the military buffs and Rolex collectors, there is a Rolex “British Military” Submariner, ref. 5513. Produced in 1972 and issued to the Royal British Navy in 1976, it is a rare center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel military diver's wristwatch with fixed bar lugs. Accompanying the watch is an Army Diver’s Log Book, 4 black and white photos of diving activities, service guarantee from Rolex UK, dated January 25th, 2010 along with correspondence confirming the delivery of this watch to the British Ministry of Defense in 1975.
