The auctions, conducted by Father Time Auctions, will take place in the convent, 1100 Bellevue Avenue in Richmond Heights, MO, 63117.

St. Louis, MO, May 07, 2011 --(PR.com)-- The Franciscan Sisters of Mary will hold two (2) Public Auctions, Saturday, May 14, 2011, and Saturday, May 21, 2011, to sell unneeded convent furnishings of the congregation. The auctions, conducted by Father Time® Auctions, will take place in the convent, 1100 Bellevue Avenue in Richmond Heights, MO, 63117.

Buyers may preview both auctions’ items beginning at 8AM, with each auction starting at 9AM. Public preview of the auction items and pre-registration will be held on each Friday preceding the auction from 3-5PM at the convent.

Items for the two auctions will include antiques, furniture (home and office), religious art, pictures and picture frames, books, mirrors, religious art items, filing cabinets, kitchen utensils and equipment, dishes, glassware, lawn equipment, tools, art glass church windows and many other items.

Religious art: Framed art pieces in oils, pastels, lithographs & block prints in a variety of sizes from large oversize to small. Most of the art is un-signed and attributed to sisters of the order.

Statuary & Crosses: A variety of antique to contemporary statuary pieces from 60” high to table top statues. A variety of antique and newer crosses & crucifixes from 48” high to small, made of wood, plaster, painted gesso, ceramic, brass & steel.
