IEEE WCNC 2012 to Explore Wireless Communications Advances in Paris, France from April 1 – 4, 2012

Premier International Forum Announces September 12, 2011 as “Call for Papers” Deadline

New York, NY, June 29, 2011 --( The IEEE Wireless Communications and Networking Conference (WCNC), the premier event dedicated to terrestrial communications advances, has announced September 12, 2011 as the “Call for Papers” deadline for its next international conference to be held April 1 – 4, 2012 in Paris, France. Hosted by the IEEE Communications Society (ComSoc), IEEE WCNC 2012 is devoted to providing global industry professionals, academics and government agencies with the ideal forum for exploring the latest advances in digital cellular, PCS, vehicle-to-vehicle, multimedia and wireless networking technologies.

“The legendary scenic and artistic beauty of Paris will offer a spectacular backdrop for IEEE WCNC 2012,” said Prof. Hikmet Sari, the conference’s General Chair. “It will also supply a magnificent atmosphere for profiling the latest visionary research, services and applications that are actively reshaping our businesses, entertainment and social practices worldwide.”

In addition to the presentation of more than 600 technical papers, tutorials, workshops and business panels, IEEE WCNC 2012 will feature keynote speeches by several international telecommunications experts. Among the senior executives already scheduled to address conference attendees throughout the four-day event are Gee Rittenhouse, Vice President of Bell Labs Research; Siavash Alamouti, Group R&D Director of Vodafone; Thomas Sälzer, Director R&D of Huawei Technologies France; and Andrea Goldsmith, Professor of Electrical Engineering at Stanford University.

All professionals interested in presenting at IEEE WCNC 2012 are urged to visit for more conference information and detailed submission guidelines.
