The Daily Muse has partnered with Saatich & Saatchi to host SheMakes, a holiday festival supporting women and entrepreneurship. The craft and small-business fair will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011, from 12 to 5pm, at 375 Hudson Street in New York City. Other partners supporting the event include 85Broads and News On Women.

New York, NY, November 29, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Online women’s career resource The Daily Muse has partnered with Saatich & Saatchi to host SheMakes, a unique holiday craft and small-business fair supporting women and entrepreneurship. The festival will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011, from 12 to 5pm, at 375 Hudson Street in New York City. Other partners supporting the event include the exclusive global women’s network 85Broads and News On Women, a blog covering women in politics, foreign policy, and business.

The festival will bring together emerging female designers and business owners during one of the busiest retails times of the year to offer a one-of-a-kind opportunity for consumers to patronize small female-owned businesses. Through SheMakes, The Daily Muse hopes to inspire thoughtful consumer decisions and provide a community platform for women entrepreneurs to expand their audience.

The event will be open to the public and is free to attend. This is the first-ever festival from The Daily Muse, which launched in early September, has been recognized by Forbes and The Huffington Post as a stand-out new online resource, and was recently accepted into Y-Combinator start-up incubator program in San Francisco, California.
