Making the Second Half the Better Half: Roel Resources Rolls Out on the Web

Announcing the launch of an information-rich, multi-subject online community website for people over 40.

Glen Cove, NY, February 12, 2013 --(PR.com)-- It’s all about engagement, not retirement.

Roel Resources recently launched an information-rich website geared to the over-40 set, complete with practical, actionable information on a host of topics. These include real estate, investments, travel & adventure, older kids and aging parents, well-being, personal enrichment, along with unique and sometimes outrageously fun things to do, whether one is in one’s forties, still working and raising kids, or over 65, retired and empty-nest free. The website debuted on February 1, 2013.

The site, www.roelresources.com , whose life-affirming tagline is Forty Forward, is different than other second half of life-websites in several ways. It is organized not as an online news magazine, but rather as an engaged community, one that welcomes views, fresh ideas, commentary -- and articles -- from its steady readers and occasional visitors.

Conceived by Long Island author, educator and longtime Newsday journalist, Ron Roel, the site is essentially an online learning center. It is national in scope, and includes essential tips from experts, as well as best practices and “What’s Working” in communities across the country.

As for the Resource aspect, the site has an actual page of relevant resource links that take one to excellent education-based, governmental, organizational, financial, travel, and health sites, and to a host of substantive studies, online articles, white papers and in-depth research.

According to founder and chief editor Ron Roel, “Life is enhanced when we’re informed, and can find a community of people whose present life experiences generally match our own. If you don’t want lifestyle advice that’s geared to people in their twenties… and you don’t know which legal, financial, real estate, fitness expert, travel guide, or investment guru to trust, then come join us. We’ll not only make sure the information you get is sound, factual, and fun, we’ll make sure you can chime in.”
