Nina Nguyen Designs Hits the Jackpot with Soft Launch on New Collections in Las Vegas
Denver, CO, June 24, 2016 --( Las Vegas Market Week 2016 spelled success for jewelry designer Nina Nguyen. Known for her bold, yet feminine designs and brilliant use of druzy quartz set in sterling silver, Nguyen dazzled industry insiders and introduced a winning line of trendy gemstones set in 14 karat yellow gold.

Her new collection, echoing shades straight from the pallette of Pantone’s Fall 2016 color report, is a storyboard of classic gemstones, including lapis, aquamarine, turquoise, opal, moonstone and moss chalcedony. As the granddaughter of a goldsmith who lived in Hue, Vietnam, Nina was born into a rich culture steeped in jewelry created for kings and queens. She elevated her style and technique in this new collection to celebrate her heritage and embrace a new legacy.

While the stones may be traditional, her settings and accents are anything but. The latest collection features black oxidized sterling silver, as well as 14 karat yellow gold, finished with an exclusive cross­hatch engraving and delicate rose­cut diamond accents.

Bangles and small stack rings join the lineup of accessories, including earrings, necklaces and wrap bracelets, that create the cornerstone of Nina Nguyen Designs jewelry. The fastened gold bangles are all hand­forged, and the delicate stack rings are tiny treasures to behold, individually, as well as stacked for a more dramatic looks.

The addition of the new solid gold collection to her sterling silver lines has been well received by many of her loyal retail customers who had the chance to be part of the soft launch in Las Vegas. With average retail prices of $700 on the 14 karat yellow gold line, retailers now have greater options for price points and styles from the popular designer.

The full launch of the latest collection, expected in July of 2016, will be supported by marketing materials, advertising and social media programs, as well as continuing sales incentive programs such as the wildly popular 2015 Holiday Sales Incentive “Cruise for Two” program, won by Melinda Ricketts of Tyler, Texas-­based Murphey the Jeweler.
