San Diego, CA, February 12, 2008 --(PR.com
)-- Leveraging its recently announced partnership with Hostway, Tilana Systems Corporation (http://www.tilana.com) is now offering its online data protection
and sync technology as a widely deployable SaaS platform for hosting companies and ISPs. Prospective distribution partners can learn more about Tilana partnership opportunities, and apply at the new partner targeted web site (http://partner.tilana.com).
The non-exclusive agreement between Hostway and Tilana announced on January 28 is one that provides Hostway with the opportunity to roll out under it’s other brands newer co-branded offerings similar to GateVault from (http://www.gate.com/online-backup), and gives Tilana the opportunity of launching other offerings built on Hostway’s or any other infrastructure.
Tilana is now poised to build more distribution agreements around other data center deployments, and to extend its penetration into the business and mass-market hosting spaces and beyond.
Tilana is aggressively implementing its channel distribution strategy for its new content management system, which is currently represented by Tilana Reserve, the direct service offering, and the co-branded GateVault, powered by Tilana, service offering from Hostway.
“GateVault and the larger partnership with Hostway are both very important to us,” said Joe Austin, Tilana CEO. “Tilana Systems is excited about channel building and we look forward to having more partners of the Hostway caliber.”
The server side of the Tilana platform is called Tilana TrueCDP™, which installs on Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and 2000, and uses Microsoft SQL Server 2005. Microsoft IIS 6.0 with ASP.net 2.0 is required to implement the web access portion of the Tilana user interface.
The Tilana desktop software is easily co-branded for channel delivery under any new product name chosen by a distribution partner.

About Tilana Systems Corporation
San Diego based Tilana Systems Corporation makes online storage powerful with the unique combination of true real time CDP, permanent archival, file and folder synchronization, remote and mobile data center access, and version history as one affordable service.
The company’s first offering, Tilana Reserve, uses software installed on the desktop to securely transmit files between the user’s protected PCs and personal remote storage space. After initial upload of protected files, the software sends only changes to files as they’re saved, along with any new files as they appear in protected folders on the user’s computer.
Free phone and email support is available to all Tilana Reserve subscribers, during Pacific business hours Monday through Friday. Please visit http://www.tilana.com for more information on Tilana Reserve and Tilana Systems Corp.
