Tampa, FL, August 27, 2018 --(PR.com
)-- The Lawrence A. Martucci Benefit, Corp. (L.A.M.B.) started by Luana Martucci sister of the late Lawrence Martucci who passed away at the age of 6 years from the torture of cancer treatments he received from the age of 4 years old, from surgeries to radiation and chemotherapy, he had it all. Only later to die cancer free. L.A.M.B. has been supporting children’s cancer research for the last 5 years, donating over $150,000 particularly supporting a “Prevention” not a treatment to childhood leukemia. The Children’s Cancer Research Group has been fighting cancer for the last 40 years by researching a vaccine for childhood leukemia that would eventually be administered at birth for any child that tests positive to the possibility of having leukemia in the future. Therefore, preventing the cancer completely and avoiding the harsh treatments. The research cannot continue without help from our community. It’s time to focus on a prevention and not treatment. Treatments only cause more harm and many times is worse than the cancer itself. Let’s fight for a prevention!
