San Francisco, CA, May 13, 2019 --(PR.com
)-- In support of Mental Health Month, Ultimatum Inc and iDEAQUEST have launched a campaign called #Care4Us supporting the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
. Technology and the widespread use of social media today enables instantaneous communication at all hours of the day. People are always "on" and it can be challenging to disconnect. Moreover, social media can feel inauthentic; people only share their best moments, with little space for real conversations about the challenges and struggles of daily life.
This makes mental health awareness more important than ever. This May, Ultimatum and iDEAQUEST are inviting people to share their personal stories around mental health and wellness using the hashtag #Care4Us. Each post on Twitter that uses the hashtag #Care4Us will activate a donation to NAMI. The first $500 in donations will be matched by the Ultimatum campaign sponsor, iDEAQUEST.
Mark Montalban, founder of iDEAQUEST, felt he needed to help people make small changes in their lives each day. He wants to make mindfulness and meditation easier to achieve for everyone, creating a space for people to tune into their own mental health and well-being each day. You can learn more about iDEAQUEST’s SMS-focused program to manage personal wellness through daily mindfulness texts by visiting iDEAQUEST.co

About the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)
The National Alliance on Mental Illness (https://nami.org/) is the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness. What started as a small group of families gathered around a kitchen table in 1979 has blossomed into the nation's leading voice on mental health. Today, NAMI is an association of more than 500 local affiliates who work in your community to raise awareness and provide support and education that was not previously available to those in need.
