ESOP Association Meeting to feature Schatz, Kaplan.

ESOPs are employee stock ownership plans that own shares of corporations for the benefit of the employees of the corporation.
The discussion will cover the unique relationships among the Board of Directors, Trustee, and ESOP committee or plan administrator of corporations owned wholly or in part by an employee stock ownership plan. Among other things, Schatz and Kaplan will consider the responsibilities of the Board of Directors in appointing and monitoring the actions of the ESOP Trustee as well as the obligations of the ESOP Trustee to vote for the board of directors.
