Hispanic Unity of Florida's Entrepreneur Summit — One of Broward's Longest-Running — Returns for a 13th Year with a New Pitch Competition
Hispanic Unity of Florida's 13th Annual Entrepreneur Summit returns on October 2, bringing together 300+ entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders for a day of learning, networking, and growth. New this year is a Pitch Competition for emerging entrepreneurs. The event also features Hispanic Heritage Month programming, business awards, expert-led workshops, and a marketplace showcasing local small businesses.
Hollywood, FL, September 25, 2026 --(PR.com)-- Hispanic Unity of Florida (HUF) will host its 13th Broward Entrepreneur Summit on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Alan B. Levan | NSU Broward Center of Innovation. The Summit falls during Hispanic Heritage Month, which HUF will mark with special programming throughout the day, including the Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award initiative, honoring individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to serving the community and embody HUF's values and mission.
The Summit will welcome more than 300 entrepreneurs, business owners, and community leaders for a day of practical education, networking, and access to local resources to help them start, grow, and scale their businesses. New this year, HUF's Level Up Center of Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition invites emerging entrepreneurs to present their business ideas before a panel of judges for a chance to win 1:1 business mentoring and cash prizes. The Summit will also celebrate the American Dream Awards recognizing business leaders whose achievements and perseverance have resulted in positive community impact. Award recipients will offer attendees an inside look at the lessons, challenges, and decisions that shaped their journeys as entrepreneurs.
Designed around the real challenges and opportunities entrepreneurs face today, the program includes sessions on:
Customer Experience as a Growth Strategy — A panel exploring designing customer experiences that build loyalty and drive referrals.
Strategic Networking — An interactive workshop on building authentic business relationships.
Prompt to Profit: Using AI to Drive Sales & Marketing Results — A hands-on workshop equipping attendees with practical AI tools to generate leads and grow their customer base.
Pricing & Profit: Financial Skills Every Entrepreneur Needs — A workshop addressing pricing strategy, cash flow, and profit planning for sustainable growth.
