Along with Honorary Co-Chairs Chef Traci des Jardins (Acme Chophouse/ Jardinière/Mijita) and Chef Jamie Lauren (Absinthe), participating restaurants include: A16; Alembic; Bar Tartine; COCO 500; Cortez; Marinus; Maverick; Midi; The Moss Room; Perbacco; Poleng Lounge; Postrio; Scala’s Bistro; SPQR and Spruce, to name just a few. “Raymond has donated to several of the Taste of the Nation events around the country over the years,” states Krisi Raymond, Raymond Vineyards Director of Strategic Planning. “As a mother, this cause hits close to home for me. It is estimated that 12.6 million children are at risk of hunger in America. We hope that our involvement helps to wipe out childhood hunger completely in this country some day.”

About Raymond Vineyards
Raymond Vineyards began in 1971 when Roy Sr., Roy Jr. and Walter Raymond purchased 90 acres in what is now the Rutherford appellation of Napa Valley. After removing walnut and prune orchards to plant grape vines, the Raymond family celebrated their first harvest in 1974. Today, Walter Raymond is joined by his daughter Krisi and her husband Kirk, Walter’s nephew Craig and Craig’s wife Margaret to continue the family’s winemaking legacy. The Raymond family’s roots in the Napa Valley date back to 1876, when Jacob and Frederick Beringer founded Beringer Brothers Winery. Both Krisi and Craig Raymond represent their family’s fifth generation of Napa Valley winemaking tradition.
Raymond produces Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc as well as limited production Cabernet Sauvignons from the Rutherford, St. Helena and Oakville appellations and Generations Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. A limited production Small Lot series of wines were introduced in 2008 and are available exclusively to the winery’s club members and tasting room guests.
