New Long® Fence Office is Designed to be Green
Baltimore, MD, June 26, 2010 --(PR.com)-- Long® Fence, one of the largest commercial and residential fencing contractors on the East Coast, recently opened a new office in Odenton, MD. The new office was designed to incorporate green building practices.

The 60,000 square foot office and fencing warehouse facility incorporates elements such as recycled cotton insulation, renewable linoleum flooring and ceiling tiles made from recycled materials. The new Odenton facility replaces the previous Long® Fence office on Robert Crain Highway in Crofton, Maryland which has been in operation since 1968. That building has now been sold.

New Maryland Fencing Contractors Location
“We are very excited about our move to Odenton, MD” said Mike Ritter, Jr., vice-president of Long® Fence. “Our new state-of-the-art eco-friendly facility will help us continue to grow our business and better service our customers’ needs, while providing our employees with a first class place to work.”

Purple Cherry Architects of Annapolis, MD designed the Odenton office, one of three operated by Long® Fence in Maryland. These other Maryland fencing contractor locations are Capitol Heights serving the greater Washington, D.C. area and Ijamsville, MD serving the Frederick area. Cathy Purple Cherry, principal of Purple Cherry Architects, said, “The main structure is designed to be “green.” The structural steel is 75% recycled. This is yet another example of efficient and intelligent design.”
