Celebrity DJ Jon Quick and his celebrity friends will host “Beauty and the Beat Vol. 2 – Heroines for Haiti” on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Cielo. Proceeds to benefit Hip Hop Loves Foundation. Hosted by actress Bobbi Baker-James aka "Kiki" from TNT's "Tyler Perry's House of Payne."

New York, NY, March 09, 2011 --(PR.com)-- Party with a cause while celebrating National Women's Month and raising money for Haiti.

Celebrity DJ Jon Quick and some of his celebrity friends will host “Beauty and the Beat Vol. 2 – Heroines for Haiti” on Friday, March 25, 2011 at Cielo Nightclub(18 West Little 12th St. NYC) from 6pm-10pm. The night will celebrate the talent and works of eight phenomenal women of color from various industries for a night of pure elegance, fun, dancing and philanthropy. Actress Bobbi Baker-James, who currently stars as the sassy barber “Kiki” of TNT’s “Tyler Perry’s House of Payne” is confirmed to attend and lend her support to this worthwhile event as the Mistress of Ceremonies.

DJ Jon Quick, NYC legendary club DJ who currently holds residencies at Hype Lounge, Taj, Moca and Katra, along with the non profit org Hip Hop Loves Foundation, will be honoring the works of Maya Haile (Ethopian supermodel and wife of Top Chef Marcus Samuelson), Joceclyn Taylor (founder of JRT Multimedia and former publisher for Uptown Magazine), Marlene Duperley (CEO of Doris New York Hair Products), Celeste Johnny (CEO/designer of Johnny Vincent Swimwear), Dr. Shermian Daniel M.D. (author of “So You Want To Be a Doctor?”), Kristen Stevens (real estate mogul and CEO of Cute Beltz) Vanessa Chakour (highly sought after artist, boxer and philanthropist) and Setor Attipoe (actress/playwright and CEO of “Lamb to a Lion Productions”).

As a celebration of National Women's Month. Quick is also using this opportunity to raise much needed money for the victims of the earthquake in Haiti. All the money from the door proceeds will go to the Hip Hop Loves Foundation as well as Partners in Health's Zanme Lamaste Haiti Project.
