Daryl Hannah Available for Photos and Autographs at Portland’s Better Living Show

Portland, OR, March 15, 2012 --(PR.com)-- Meet two amazing Hannah’s at one booth! Hannah the Pet Society is happy to announce that actress and environmental advocate Daryl Hannah will be available for photos and autographs from 5 to 6 p.m. at Hannah the Pet Society’s booth (#108) at the Better Living Show on Friday March 23.

Daryl Hannah is the keynote speaker at the show and will be the star attraction on the Sustainable Life Stage where she will present her talk “Turning Inspiration into Action” at 7 p.m. shortly after the photo and autograph session with Hannah the Pet Society. Daryl Hannah is known not only for her movie roles but also for her passion and commitment to the environment. She also has rescued many stray animals.

Ms. Hannah has produced, hosted and shot numerous environmental awareness/health TV appearances including pieces for CNN International and Good Morning America. She designed dhlovelife.com (online since 2005) her website dedicated to sharing solutions on how to live more harmoniously with the planet and all other living things. She is also the founder of the Sustainable Biodiesel Alliance (SBA), which is a certification program for sustainably produced, harvested and distributed biofuels. She has acted in over forty films since the age of 11. She’s writing a book, invented board games and toys, keeps bees and loves music, hot springs, wild things and wilderness.

In addition to hosting Ms. Hannah’s appearance for photos and autographs, Hannah the Pet Society is also providing a spin wheel for people to win a prize for their Pet. Hartz Pet Products is graciously donating many of the spin wheel prizes.

The Better Living Show allows members of the public to compare, shop, test and buy sustainable products for their home and garden, eco-chic fashion, electric vehicles and cutting-edge green technologies. The show offers free admission and is at the Portland Expo Center, 2060 N. Marine Dr. from 12 to 9 p.m. March 23; 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. March 24; and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 25.
