Seniors Write a Book and Donate a Portion of Proceeds to Alzheimer's Disease and Breast Cancer Research
Calgary, Canada, July 03, 2007 --(PR.com)-- A small group of seniors from CareWell Adult Day Support Program, under the direction of Ava Jean Lunn, Recreation Therapist, have written a book called Flowers of Hope. The book was written as a therapy project for life review and to give the seniors an opportunity to experiment with creative writing. The story follows the lives of two people from childhood, through World War Two and into old age and is a composite of the lives of all of the participants.

This story is truly a labor of love, written through the sharing of intimate details of several lives, though questions and answers, laughter, tears and bittersweet memories.
