New York, NY, July 25, 2014 --(PR.com
)-- The Walt “Clyde” Frazier Basketball Camp presented by BC Hoops is taking place at Baruch College, July 28th thru August 1st. The camp will provide boys and girls ages 7-17 with a structured basketball learning experience that encourages team participation and personal development. Campers will learn the fundamentals of basketball from a highly trained professional basketball staff including daily instruction from Hall of Fame and New York Knick Legend Walt "Clyde" Frazier.
In addition, 45 underprivileged New York City youth will be attending the camp on scholarship made possible through the Coop's Hoops Foundation, in memory of a 9 year-old camper, who tragically lost his life in a taxicab accident in January of this year. Cooper Stock was a former Walt Frazier Camper and New York Knicks Camper who had a love, like no other, for the New York Knicks and the game of basketball. Coop's Hoops continues to raise money to send New York City youth to camp and raise awareness of safety and traffic laws in New York City.
