Informal Settlement Network - Working Together for Change and Using Social Media to Spread the Word
Johannesburg, South Africa, October 02, 2014 --(PR.com)-- On 3 October 2014 the leaders of the informal settlement network will be unveiling the new brand, logo and website to officially launch the community initiative, Forum4Change.

Forum4Change is a community of individuals that are “Working Together for Change.”

Forum4Change is not affiliated with any political organization and strives to create change in the informal settlement network from the ground up. With close to 4000 community members online, this is a major breakthrough for those living in the informal settlements. Providing a forum to discuss challenges in the communities and working together, they are finding and implementing collaborative and creative solutions that solve the problems that have existed in these communities for the last two (2) decades.

This is a historical day for South Africa and the informal settlement network. Forum4Change takes a fresh look at an old problem. By taking a next generation approach and using social communities to create positive, long lasting and sustainable change, the “lost generation” will be no more.

The launch party will take place at:
Venue:
Ivory Park Fire Station Siyafunda Community Technology Centre
Time: 10:30AM
